From Jennifer Kyrnin, your Guide to Web Design / HTML
Designing pages for mobile is more than just how the pages look, what content you put up and take out is important too. This week's feature article explains some of the things you should think about when designing mobile websites. Plus, there's an article on how to test them once you're done.

Don't Limit the Content on Your Mobile Sites, But Limit It
I have been using my iPad to browse websites for nearly two years now, and I can tell you that while the sites are getting better, there is still an annoying tendency to limit the content I can see just because some stupid browser sniffer tells the site I'm on a "mobile" device. Learn how to design effectively for both mobile phones and tablets and you will have happier customers.

How to Test Mobile Web Pages and Applications
Once you've got the content for your mobile site up and ready and it's not too much or too little, you should test your site to make sure that it works on mobile devices. This article will help you learn what's important to test and also how to test even if you don't have a mobile device.

Blogging FAQ for Web Designers
If you are a web designer, you might not think you need a blog. And you might not. But blogs can be of value to your business and your customers if you do it right. I recommend that most of my clients run blogs if they think they can get on and post to them fairly regularly.

Poll: Would you build a website or web page with Word?
While it is certainly possible to build a website or page with Microsoft Word, I don’t recommend it. But a lot of people have used this software to build web pages. I have built at least one page with Word, if only to teach people how to do it. :-) And honestly, if you have nothing else, Word might be a reasonably quick solution to get something live on a website.
