From Jennifer Kyrnin, your Guide to Web Design / HTML
This week we look at an advanced design tool: WOFF font file type for embedding fonts into web pages. And we also look at a more basic situation: testing pages in IE generates an error. Find out what you can do about both of these situations. Darla has also created a fun quiz you can take to test your knowledge of XML. If you like that form of quiz, please let me know. If people like it, Darla and I can create more quizzes like that to test your knowledge on other subjects.

Web hosting is a very important part of web design. If you don't have a good web hosting provider, then you will have trouble with your web pages. But finding a good host can be challenging. I've received some great web hosting reviews that might help.

Poll: Where do you put your scripts in your HTML?
When you add scripts to your HTML using the SCRIPT element, you can place them inside the BODY element or in the HEAD element. Of course, using external scripts helps speed up web pages. But did you know that putting the scripts at the very bottom of your HTML, just before the ending tag, also helps your pages load more quickly. Where do you put your scripts in your HTML?
